PART 3: THE COLLAPSE OF THE ELITE

The panic in the ballroom reached a fever pitch as the federal marshals advanced past the tables, their authoritative presence cutting through the crowd like a knife.

Chloe finally managed to push herself up from the floor, her elaborate pink wedding gown stained and dragging awkwardly behind her. She clung desperately to Lucas’s arm, her voice shrill and trembling.

"Do something, Lucas! Tell them who your father-in-law is! Tell them they can't do this!" she screamed, completely losing her composure as the cameras flashed from the bewildered guests capturing every second of their humiliation.

Lucas looked completely hollowed out, his posture collapsing under the weight of the inevitable reality. He had spent months celebrating his hostile takeover, assuming that my silence meant defeat. He never anticipated that my silence was simply the calm before the storm.

"There is no one left to save you, Chloe," I said, stepping closer while keeping my baby secure in my arm and the golden urn firmly gripped in my hand. "My father's political network was dismantled this morning, and every single shell company you used to fund your luxury lifestyle has already been frozen by the federal tribunal."

The woman in the glittering gold dress—who had been clutching her face in horror near the front row—stumbled backward into a chair as the truth sank in. She was part of the inner circle that had greenlit the fraudulent transfer of assets, believing they were untouchable behind high society walls.

"This is illegal!" one of the corporate board members shouted from a VIP table, standing up in a desperate attempt to rally support. "You can't just seize private assets without a formal board resolution!"

A sharp, metallic click echoed through the room as the lead federal marshal unclipped his radio. "Federal warrants don't require a board resolution, sir. Sit down and keep your hands where we can see them, or you'll be joining them in the holding transport."

The board member instantly paled, sinking back into his seat and pulling his hands away from his jacket as if the table itself were burning.

I raised the golden urn just an inch higher, its polished surface reflecting the panic and shock etched across every face in the room. The grand wedding celebration had transformed into a public tribunal, and the true owner of the empire was holding the gavel.
