PART 1: THE CRASH ON THE TERRACE

The rooftop terrace overlooking the sweeping Manhattan skyline was bathed in the brilliant afternoon sunlight, decorated with lush white floral arches and elegant dining setups. It was supposed to be the most luxurious wedding of the season, a flawless celebration of high society, elite status, and family prestige. Instead, in a single fractions of a second, the fairy-tale ceremony descended into absolute, deafening chaos.

At the center of the terrace, a young woman in a deep blue evening gown lay sprawled across the stone-paved floor. Her body was twisted in pain, one leg extended awkwardly while her hands braced against the ground to keep from collapsing entirely. Her face was contorted in a mask of shock and agony, tears springing to her eyes as the sudden impact of a violent shove reverberated through her bones. Her sparkling heels lay discarded nearby, battered by the abruptness of the fall.

Towering just feet away was the bride herself, magnificent in a sweeping white strapless lace gown and a cascading veil. But instead of grace, the bride’s face was twisted in a savage, furious snarl. Her mouth was thrown wide open in a fierce scream, her hands gripping the back of a golden chiavari chair as if she were ready to hurl it at the woman on the floor.

Around them, the wedding party reacted in total pandemonium. An older woman in a shimmering sequined silver gown threw her hands up in horror, her expression frozen in a gasp of disbelief. Beside her, an older man in a tailored dark suit and tie lunged forward, his face red with panic and fury as he shouted toward the center of the scuffle. In the background, another bridesmaid in a blue dress stared in horror, while wedding guests at the tables rose from their seats in sheer dismay.

"How dare you ruin my day! Get her out of my sight!" the bride shrieked, her voice echoing off the surrounding skyscrapers. But the woman on the floor, struggling to catch her breath, wasn't crying out of defeat—she was holding a small, encrypted flash drive clutched tightly in her palm, containing the secret that was about to blow the entire dynasty apart.
