The Reports Adrian Believed

Chapter 03 - The Reports Adrian Believed
Vanessa produced a thick folder of behavioral reports.
The documents described aggression, compulsive lying, food refusal, property destruction, and “shared delusional narratives” among the three children.
Dr. Paul Keller signed every report.
Adrian had spoken with Keller twice by video.
The therapist explained that the children were reacting to grief after their mother’s death. He advised consistent rules, reduced contact during Adrian’s travel, and a structured residential assessment if symptoms worsened.
Vanessa sent Adrian weekly summaries.
Emma threw a lamp.
Noah hit a housekeeper.
Lily ran toward the road.
Each incident came with a photograph.
Naomi compared the dates to the hidden archive.
On the day Emma supposedly threw a lamp, Vanessa entered the room alone and knocked it over.
When Noah allegedly hit a housekeeper, the housekeeper was not inside the mansion.
Lily’s road incident occurred while the front gates were electronically locked.
The reports did not document behavior.
They manufactured it.
Adrian sat at the library table and read the future-dated pages.
One report described the children hiding in the east corridor and refusing to speak after a “violent group episode.”
The date was tomorrow.
Keller had written the interpretation before the event occurred.
Vanessa had planned the hallway scene.
Adrian looked at her.
“Why?”
She looked toward Naomi instead.
“You have no right to ask questions without my attorney.”

The refusal did not answer him.
The financial records soon would.
