Michael’s Letter

Chapter 11 - Michael’s Letter
Naomi opened a sealed trust archive left by Michael Reed.
The file could be accessed only if someone attempted to use Sophie’s mental health to obtain corporate control.
Michael had anticipated the possibility because his own father experienced a guardianship dispute.
His letter addressed Amanda.

He described the ceiling archive, independent trustee, and anti-placement clause.
Amanda cried while reading.
Michael had built safeguards.
She had slowly allowed Julian to become the interpreter of them.
The letter did not blame her.
It warned against confusing professional language with truth.
Sophie asked whether her father knew Julian.
“No,” Amanda said.
