Julian, Victoria, and Keller faced charges including child cruelty, evidence fabrication, fraud, attempted guardianship theft, and conspiracy.
The prosecution did not repeatedly display Sophie’s fall.
The ceiling footage was shown only as necessary.
The financial records, future reports, hidden recorder, and forged signatures carried the case.
Amanda testified about her failures without accepting blame for the defendants’ choices.
Julian’s attorney asked whether he had loved Sophie.
Amanda answered:
“He behaved lovingly many times.”
“Then he was not using her.”
“Affection does not cancel a plan.”
Sophie did not testify in open court. Her recorded forensic interview was admitted under protective rules.
The jury convicted all three defendants.
Julian received nineteen years.
Victoria received twenty-four.
