Daniel supported the idea but refused to make the family story its marketing campaign.
Noah entered a national engineering competition using anonymized research.
His system allowed emergency messages to be preserved by independent servers rather than contractor-controlled networks.
He won second place.
The judge asked what inspired him.
“Communication should not disappear because one institution controls the account.”
He did not mention the porch.
