Delivery Suite Four closed during the investigation.
When it reopened, the duplicated wristbands were displayed inside the staff-training room, not the patient space.
The suite received two doors.
One opened into the clinical hall.
The other opened into the patient-advocacy office.
Both could always be opened from inside.
Rachel returned for the reopening ceremony.
She stood outside the doors where she once begged Ethan to let her enter.
A reporter asked whether the hospital should rename the room after her.
“No,” Rachel said. “Patients should not need a famous victim before a safe policy exists.”
The suite remained Number Four.
Its new policy was called Verified Voice.
Every patient heard their name, consent, support person, and planned procedure read aloud before treatment.
Any discrepancy stopped the process.
Lena performed the first verification.
The patient corrected the pronunciation of her middle name.
Everyone waited while the record was changed.
