Tyler’s birthday party had been planned months earlier.
After the will reading, he transformed it into a deadline.
Many guests were foundation donors, board members, and family friends. If Ava signed the transfer publicly, Tyler could present unity and discourage investigation.
If she refused, he planned to announce that grief had made her irrational.
Keller prepared two statements.
The first celebrated a voluntary inheritance division.
The second expressed concern about Ava’s mental health and requested temporary guardianship over the estate.
Both were found on his laptop.
The second statement included a line about Ava’s “dangerous conduct on the balcony.”
It was written the night before the party.
