Victor held Daniel at gunpoint beside the underwater battery core.
Aisha was locked behind a glass safety door.
Malik could release the door only by shutting down the core.
Doing so would erase the final archive proving Helix’s crimes.
Victor understood the choice.
“Save your parents, lose the evidence.”
Agents could not reach the lower chamber before the core overheated.
Julian told Malik the legal case depended on the archive.
Eleanor told him to save Aisha and Daniel.
Malik looked at the Obsidian interface.
His mother’s design used mirrored storage.
Cars taught him that from the first message: important systems required redundancy.
He searched for a second archive.
The black Bugatti’s event recorder showed an unused channel beneath the passenger seat.
Aisha had copied Helix data into the car every time the key connected to a facility.
The evidence was already safe.
Malik shut down the underwater core.
Aisha’s door opened.
Daniel struck Victor’s wrist.
The gun slid across the floor.
Agents entered seconds later.
Victor was arrested.
Aisha crossed the chamber toward Daniel.
