Adrian wanted to bring her home immediately.

Olivia needed choice.
Lily needed preparation.
Their first meeting occurred in a bright therapy garden.
Olivia sat on a bench.

Then Olivia began humming the duck-park song.
Lily crossed the grass and hugged her.
Adrian watched from a distance.
He did not join until Lily waved him over.
