The Wedding Hall Reopens

Chapter 17 - The Wedding Hall Reopens
Hartwell Grand closed its wedding ballroom for renovation.
When it reopened, the corridor where Vanessa confronted Grace had become part of a child-safety training center.
Grace refused to display the footage or her cream dress.
“My crying is not decoration.”
The exhibit showed a replica locket, the falsified death certificate, the trust clause, and the Rosewood identity map.
The original locket remained with Grace.
Event staff received new instructions.
Unregistered children were not automatically treated as intruders.
Security assessed behavior, contacted advocates, and preserved safe access to exits.
Workers could challenge orders from wealthy clients without losing housing or healthcare.
The first wedding after reopening was small.
No charity children were used as decorations or promotional symbols.
Grace attended only because the bride was her teacher.
She wore blue.
When another flower girl became frightened, Grace sat beside her until she felt ready.
