She began after seeing Vanessa remove food from Lily’s tray as punishment. Maria feared losing her job and health insurance, but she wrote dates, statements, and names.
She documented locked doors.
Missing phone chargers.
Keller’s late-night visits.
She also recorded attempts to tell Daniel.
Vanessa intercepted Maria outside his office and said Lily’s treatment was confidential.
The family attorney warned that discussing the child could violate privacy laws.
Maria misunderstood the law but understood the threat.
She stayed silent publicly and documented privately.
The notebook confirmed the video timeline.
It also revealed another detail.
Vanessa entered Anna’s old storage room three times.
After the third visit, Anna’s journals disappeared.
Police found them in Vanessa’s safe.
One journal contained the original trust password and a warning:
No spouse of Daniel’s may control Lily’s shares through residential placement without independent judicial review.
