The Boy at Carousel Six

Chapter 19 - The Boy at Carousel Six
Seven years after the suitcase broke, Noah began studying forensic engineering.
For a university project, he returned to Carousel Six.
The original belt had been replaced, but the airport preserved one metal section where he found the clean tag.
Noah demonstrated how code-cloning devices worked and why access systems needed physical witnesses.
A group of trainees watched.
One asked how he knew to look beneath the carousel.
“I didn’t know,” Noah said. “I saw someone do something that did not match the story adults were telling.”
He taught them five questions:
Who touched the object?
When did the record change?
Who benefits from the blame?
What physical detail contradicts the official explanation?
What would a worker notice that an executive might miss?
Clara listened from the back.
Michael stood beside her without a cane for the first time.
Noah placed the two yellow tags on the table.
The burned one looked dramatic.

The clean one looked ordinary.
“That is usually how false evidence works,” he said. “The lie wants attention. The truth is often under the machine.”
