Adrian’s Verdict

Chapter 15 - Adrian’s Verdict
The jury convicted Adrian on every major coercion and fraud count and on assault.
At sentencing, he described himself as a man destroyed by ambition, manipulation, and fear of insignificance.
Elena believed fear had influenced him.
She rejected the passive language.
“Fear did not forge my signature,” she said. “Fear did not close the elevator, prepare the camera angles, or order another person to surrender. Choices did.”
Adrian received twenty years.
He was ordered to surrender fraud-linked equity and pay restitution.
The court preserved the legitimate value of work he had actually performed.
Accuracy mattered.
