Camille’s relationship with Adrian began as an affair.
It evolved into a corporate alliance.
Emails revealed that she did not plan to become merely his second wife. She expected to control investor relations, sit on the board, and receive ten percent of the patent company after Elena’s removal.
Camille repeatedly described Adrian as useful but impulsive.
In one message to Dr. Renner, she wrote:
Once Elena signs, Adrian believes he owns everything. Let him believe it until the restructuring closes.
Camille planned to betray him too.
The proposed restructuring transferred key assets into Laurent Strategic Holdings before Adrian gained full control.
Adrian read the message in front of investigators.
His face emptied.
“You said we were building this together.”
Camille laughed bitterly.
“You were willing to erase your wife for ownership. Why would I trust you with mine?”
Their alliance survived only while both believed the other needed them.
Evidence removed the illusion.
Adrian began blaming Camille.

Renner blamed both.
